Encapsulation (Answer) Options

Across WAN links, your Pipeline 220 uses an encapsulation method to move data between it and the remote device. An encapsulation protocol is negotiated between the devices when the WAN link is established.

Both sides of the link must agree on the encapsulation method. Your Pipeline 220 supports PPP, Frame Relay, and TCP-Clear encapsulation methods.

Select any that may be used by remote devices that connect to the Pipeline 220.
