Adding nodes 
 
Once setup is complete, individual nodes can be added to the server.
 1.   To add a new node, select:
File | HiPath 5000 RSM/AllServe | New | HiPath 3000/AllServe Node
The Enter Source dialog box appears.
 2.   Select the required source.
    The following source options are available:
   -   Customer database file
CDB is loaded from a local drive
   -   Create offline
CDB is generated offline
   -   Direct load from system
Transfer dialog is started
 3.   Click Next.
The Enter node data dialog box appears.
 4.   Enter the node data.
 5.   Click the Finish button.
The node is created.
Reboot the system if a new node has been added to HiPath 5000 RSM.
To add the new node on a running HiPath 5000 server, proceed as follows:
   -   Select: File | HiPath 5000 RSM/AllServe | Transfer | HiPath 3000/AllServe Node
. The Transfer dialog box appears.
   -   Click the Add node button.
