CISCO TELEPRESENCE MXP PRODUCT KEY INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS



Follow these one of these options (Telnet based or Web-UI based) to activate your Cisco MXP product key



Telnet based option:

 1. Telnet to the codec

 2. TYPE: productkey 1234567890123456 (example)

 3. Reboot the unit

 4. Once the unit is rebooted, proceed as usual to implement the additional feature/options keys



Web-UI based option:

If the codec has F9 software installed, you can ENTER the key by using the web browser http:///setproductversion.ssi





LICENSE KEY INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS



Before you proceed, make sure that the Cisco MXP series has been installed and configured so that you can access it from a web browser.



Follow these steps to activate your Cisco MXP series features:



Step 1.  Using a supported web browser, go to the IP address or HOST name of the Cisco MXP series:  http://.

Step 2.  LOG in to the Cisco MXP series as SYSTEM administrator.  If the video SYSTEM is setup with an IP Access Password you must ENTER the password: Password (IP Access Password). The DEFAULT IP Access Password is TANDBERG. For a new MXP series the USER is "admin" with no password.)

Step 3.  In the web interface of the Cisco MXP series, go to SYSTEM Configuration > Upgrade.

For each feature activation code in this email, follow steps 4 to 6.

Step 4.  COPY an activation code.

Step 5.  Paste the activation code into the 'New Option Key' field.

Step 6.  Click 'Enable Option'.

The Cisco MXP series imports the activation code to enable the feature.





Cisco strongly recommends that you immediately PRINT this email, save the attachment to a removable media and store both in a safe place for future use if needed by either yourself or anyone in your organization.
