If you select Route IP Packets, and your Pipeline supports routing, the Pipeline will route Internet Protocol (IP) packets. This is normally the most efficient way to get and receive data from the Internet or another network that uses TCP/IP protocols. If you select Route IPX Packets, and your Pipeline supports routing, the Pipeline will route IPX packets to Novell NetWare networks. This is normally the most efficient way to get and receive data from a NetWare network. If you select Bridge Unrouted Protocols, the Pipeline works as a bridge to carry information for any network protocol between your computer and the remote network. For more information about bridging and protocols, see the Networking Glossary or the Pipeline manuals.
