If you select Internet Access and your Pipeline supports routing, the Pipeline will route Internet Protocol (IP) packets. This is normally the most efficient way to get and receive data from the Internet. For more information about IP, routing, and packets, see the Networking Glossary or the Pipeline manuals.
If you select Telecommuting, you're next asked what kind or kinds of networks you'll connect to. QuickStart then chooses the best way to get and receive data from these networks.
