INTRODUCTION This release note accompanies version 1.0.0 of the Java-Based Ascend Configurator. This version of the Configurator is designed to work with the following Ascend products and software loads: * Ascend Pipeline 220 Requires software version 5.1Ap5 or later. ============================================================================== 2. REPORTING BUGS You are encouraged to report bugs and make suggestions for future enhancements to the software. Please send your comments via e-mail to "support@ascend.com". Include the following information as part of your message: * The Ascend Configurator version number you are running (e.g. 1.0.0) * Machine make, model, and installed memory * Operating system and version number (e.g. Windows NT 4.0) * The Ascend product you are configuring and the version of software running on that product (e.g. Pipeline 220 version 5.1Ap5) ============================================================================== 3. KNOWN PROBLEMS AND INCOMPATIBILITIES - The second ethernet port of a Pipeline 220 is not yet functional with AppleTalk. - Version 1.0.0 of JBAC will only work with Java 1.0.2, the version of Java is installed with Internet Explorer 3.0.2.
