Ascend Networking Glossary and Networking Basics

The Networking Glossary is a set of HTML files con-

taining definitions of many terms you will find 

associated with the Internet and internetworking.



Networking Basics contains illustrated definitions of 

concepts that will help you get a better understanding

of how connections are made across a wide area network.



Create a new folder and move basics.exe into it. Then

double-click on basics.exe to unbundle 55 files. This 

requires 650K of available disk space. (You can erase the

file basics.exe after double clicking on it.) 



Find the file "start.htm" and open it with your browser to

view the Networking Glossary and Networking Basics.  



To view this title, your browser needs to support Frames.

You can use Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 3.0 or 

higher), or Netscape Navigator (version 2.0 or higher).
