IP/IP e2e payload via enterprise proxy

By extending the CorNet-IP protocol to include the EFC protocol variant (EFC: Extended Fast Connect), the feature "IP/IP e2e payload via enterprise proxy" is enabled for connecting IP telephones/clients to the ITSP. Due to "IP/IP e2e payload via enterprise proxy", the IP packets no longer have to be processed by the DSP of the HG 1500 (DSP: Digital Signal Processor). This means that none of the HG 1500's gateway channels are used, and the maximum number of simultaneous calls only depends on the codec used and the available bandwidth of the DSL port.
All IP telephones/clients of a system and all IP telephones/clients within a network must support EFC to be able to use "IP/IP e2e payload via enterprise proxy".
Important: The CorNet IP protocol is not supported in HiPath 3000 V8 and HiPath 4000 V5 and later systems for networking these systems.
