Searching the Plug PC |
|
| 1. | Connect to the SSDP server and go to the Service menu item on the top right hand side of your screen. A search mask opens. |
| 2. | Choose the SheevaPlug model in the "Model" field. |
| 3. | If known, enter the MAC address of your Plug PC into the "Name" input field. |
| 4. | Click Search on the upper right hand side. The searching process is started. If you entered a MAC address, only your device will appear, otherwise all available Plug PC's will be shown. They are described as "Linux Host" in the table. |
| 5. | Once you found the Plug PC you want to connect to, just click on the corresponding MAC address and a screen with detailed information about the Plug PC appears. |
| The search for HiPath 3000, HiPath HG 1500, and HiPath Xpressions Compact works the same way as described in this section. |
Connecting to the Plug PC |
| • | In order to connect to the Plug PC, click on the correct tool (e.g. Manager E for HiPath 3000) on the right hand bottom side of your screen. |
| • | It is also possible to start / stop your previously configured X-Tracer from this page without logging into the Plug PC's Smart Services Assistant again. In order to do this: |
| 1. | Go to the "Scripts" section on the right hand bottom side of your screen again and click on the option you want to use (e.g. Start xtracer / Stop xtracer). |
| 2. | Click Upload X Tracer to gather the collected data from your Plug PC. |
