System Features |
Features that can be implemented |
| Mobile stations are matched to virtual stations in a table. For this reason, all features are mapped to virtual stations in the system. |
| Therefore, the following features can be implemented: |
| • | Up to 100 mobile stations per system |
| • | All known group types, such as: |
| - | Basic MULAP |
| - | Group call (RNA) |
| - | Group call (Group) |
| - | Exec. MULAP |
| - | Linear group |
| - | Cyclic group |
| • | Engaged display for the mobile stations on the DSS key and on the optiClient Attendant BLF. Requirement: The mobile stations must make or receive calls via the system. |
| • | Busy status of a MULAP phone number. In a MULAP configuration, both the individual MULAP station (system station and mobile station, for instance) and the MULAP phone number can be indicated in the BLF and on the DSS key. |
| • | Mobile station monitoring via CSTA applications. This allows mobiles stations to be linked to call center agents, for example. |
| • | Alternate call pickup either at the system or mobile phone. If a call is picked up by a mobile phone using the call pickup key, it can be transferred to the system phone by pressing the DSS key or MULAP key. Requirement: The mobile station number must be programmed. If a call is picked up by a system phone, it can be transferred to the mobile phone by pressing the call pickup key. |
Dimensioning of additional B channels |
| The number of simultaneous mobile calls is dependent on the system configuration. Connections to and from mobile stations require two B channels. The number of additional B channels required may vary depending on the telephony behavior of the mobile station. Additional requirements are generally ascertained on the basis of the mean call duration and the probability of a mobile station being reached. In cases where all mobile stations are used solely for field operations, for example, the number of B channels required would be correspondingly higher. |
| Depending on the number of mobile stations, we recommend configuring the following number of additional B channels (the following is assumed: 0.15 ERL/Stn, maximuml 1 - 2 % loss):: |
| |
| If too few B channels are available, we cannot guarantee mobile station connectivity. In this case, mobile stations are also unable to initiate calls via the system. |
