Internal directory |
| Implementing features, see also Manager E Internal Directory |
Definition |
| On all telephones with a display (optiPoint, OpenStage), users can view a directory of all internal stations with their names and numbers. In addition, users can view entries from the system speed-dialing facility (name, destination station number), in order to search for and call the required station. |
| After selecting the "Internal Phonebook" option from the menu, you can directly enter the name of the party you want to reach with by selecting "GSM/Cellphone procedure". To do this, press the key containing the letter you wish to access. Press the key once to access the first letter, twice to access the second letter, and three times to access the third letter (the one farthest to the right). All the letters of the name can be entered consecutively in the display. You can also scroll with the dialog keys. |
| You can also program a key to provide access to the feature, or you can select either Internal stations? or System speed dial. Then you scroll through each name by selecting Next? or scroll to and select the first letter of the wanted name. Selecting a name automatically dials the destination. |
| The LCD touchscreen display gives OpenStage users (excluding OpenStage 10 and OpenStage 20) the following additional options: |
| • | Dial softkey: dials the number beside the cursor. |
| • | Details softkey: retrieves entries for the highlighted name. |
| • | End softkey: closes the phonebook. |
| • | Scrollbar: for scrolling down the list if more than six names are displayed. |
| HiPath 3000/5000 Manager E allows you to define whether a station number will appear in the directory for each station individually. |
