Connections to ITSP

Overview
HG 1500 supports the connection to Internet Telephony Service Providers (ITSP) and thus the use of DSL telephony in versions HiPath 3000/5000 V6.0 SMR-09 and later, especially DSL connections that support DID with a phone number range. A maximum of four active ITSPs are supported simultaneously.
When using Internet telephony, the HG 1500 board is not permitted to be deployed as a DSL router. In this case, the connections to the ITSP must be established via an external router.

Maximum number of simultaneous connections
The maximum number of simultaneous connections to the ITSP depends on the deployed number of HG 1500 boards and PDM boards and on the system used.
