En-Bloc Dialing |
Definition |
| Dialed digits from the communications system are temporarily stored and sent out as a block of data (i. e. complete number) with block digit transmission (block dialing per route). Dialing only takes place when a timer has elapsed after the last digit has been dialed or when the end-of-dial code # has been entered. En-bloc dialing to the central office is required with PRI in the USA. |
| HiPath 3000 can also receive complete blocks of data from the network. |
