Networking via SIP-Q V2 is supported (CorNet-NQ protocol, tunneled in the Session Initiation Protocol [SIP]).
Project-specific approval is required for SIP-Q V2 networking of OpenScape Voice with HiPath 3000!

Supported scenarios
 •   HiPath 3000 as a gateway for digital (ISDN, T1, CAS) and analog (loop start) trunks to OpenScape Voice
 •   OpenScape Voice with a HiPath 3000 gateway
TDM workpoints (digital, analog, DECT) can be connected to HiPath 3000.
 •   OpenScape Voice with several HiPath 3000 gateways
TDM workpoints (digital, analog, DECT) can be connected to HiPath 3000.
 •   SIP proxy support (OpenScape Branch) with HiPath 3000 V8 as a gateway
 •   Support for encryption (SRTP) between OpenScape Voice and the HiPath 3000 gateway
The switch "Always use DSP" must be activated (Settings: Trunks/Networking - Special) using HiPath 3000/5000 Manager E for the OpenScape Voice networking trunk group.

The following restrictions apply
 •   The connection of IP workpoints to HiPath 3000 gateways has not been released and is therefore not supported.
 •   Networking of HiPath 3000 gateways to one another or with systems other than OpenScape Voice is not supported. HiPath 5000 Real-Time Services Manager RSM is not supported. Networking of HiPath 3000 gateways to OpenScape Voice must use a star structure.
 •   Path replacement via SIP-Q V2 is not supported for TDM workpoints connected to a HiPath 3000 gateway.
 •   In order to avoid poor voice quality with transit trunk connections, the voice codecs G.729 and G.723 are not supported. Transit trunk connections can stem from features such as Conference, Call Forwarding, and Transfer as path replacement is not supported. This means that codec G.711 must be used.
 •   The TDM workpoints connected to a HiPath 3000 gateway cannot be integrated into OpenScape Voice applications and cannot use these.
 •   Using HiPath 3000 as a Survivable Media Gateway is only supported in connection with OpenScape Branch.
 •   There is no cross-system suppport between OpenScape Voice and HiPath 3000 gateways for features such as call pickup groups, group calls and hunt groups. These groups may contain exclusively OpenScape Voice or HiPath 3000 stations.
 •   Support if only provided for networking with the E.164 numbering plan.
