6.8	Radio Paging Equipment

Definition

Radio paging equipment can be used to transmit type-dependent voice announcements or alphanumeric data (test messages) to users with portable radio receivers. Users being sought can use a procedure to answer this call from any telephone. Radio paging equipment (PSE) can be connected over analog T/R interfaces or over analog trunks.
