Internal Traffic |
Definition |
| Internal traffic refers to connections between two internal stations. If the system is equipped with simplified dialing (Prime Line), users can set up an internal call on optiPoint telephones using the extension key. |
| If simplified dialing is not configured, users can set up an internal call by dialing the internal station number. |
| The simplified dialing (Prime Line) feature is a system-wide feature that allows users to dial directly to external destinations without the use of Trunk or Trunk group keys. The external access code is automatically dialed by the system. Only one outgoing Trunk Group is possible with this arrangement. To dial internal stations, the user must first press the Internal key and dial the station number. |
