termparm - return terminal characteristics
#include
struct termptr *termparm()
Termparm returns a pointer to a structure defined in the include
file. The structure contains values that describe the current
terminal. The values include the number of rows and columns on
the screen.
The values for each terminal type are defined in the terminal
definition. If you wish to use the terminal definition file, the
environment string TERM must be set to correspond to a terminal
type defined in This is normally done by executing
set TERM=terminaltype
before starting any command that uses termparm.
